I've got a set of 16's on my box with some yokos 205/45/16. A little undersized.
I'm ____ed off with the horrendous road noise on the longer journeys and highway and tire slapping on Indys crappy roads.
Does anyone know of a super quiet tire in roughly a 205/50/16?

I love my Michelin Pilot Exalto A/s tires. They are 205 50 16's.

 

I had Kuhmo ASTs that were really quiet, should come in that size.

One of the smoothest, quietest riding tires I've ever owned. Put 'em on my wife's car, and she loves 'em. Handle great, too.
Downside is, like most Michelins, they're pricey...

 

I second the Kumho AST. I have them in 205 50 16. They're quiet, handle great, and I love the tread design.

 

the kumho asx is also a quiet tire. I just got them in 195/50/16 for the 16x8 wheels.
