Hi all,
Hey I got the springs and it was suggested I use Spring tape as it keeps the coils from grinding against each other when your driving and the car is bouncing up and down.
Now my question is can I get this tape at any Auto store? I am doing the install Thursday so I would LOVE to know today

I never used it when I had the Tein-s springs, but they already had plastic on them, and were fairly quiet.
When I put coilovers in, the rear springs were bare and made a lot of chatter. The vinyl helped with the chattering a lot.
Don't worry if you do not use it during the install, it is easy to put in later on too. Good luck...and remember, we want pictures!

when i got my df210s last year it was suggested to me that i use that stuff. i never did. didnt really notice that much noise from the springs. you should be fine and yes if they do start making a lot of noise you can always take them out and wrap them up.

WOOT! drove home low tonight. Damn allot lower that I ever expected or at least I had to see it to believe it
Unfortunately the lowered pics are at night a terrible so I am gonna have to set up a better day situation. One of my struts was busted and I did not even no it. so it took us a while to smash that problem.
God bless Carlos (raserxA) for living close by and having his old struts sitting in the garage with only like 1 on them. So pics a bit later
PS: I just put them on without the tape and so far so good
