Default UPS Man Just Dropped Off My SSR MS1-R's

Been a member of the site for about a month now and this is my first post. I just got a visist from the UPS man this morning so I thought that I would let you guys know whats going on. Im going to be doing a test fit for them before I purchase tires, so Ill keep you guys updated when I get them on.

SSR MS1-R's
17X9 in the rear and 17X8 in the front.
Super Black Coat (Hard to see in the picture but its like a deep gunmetal chrome in person, but is still bright. Hard to explain, but it looks tight in real life)

Fattest lip possible.

Thought that this was pretty cool. SSR really put some attention to detail when they designed these wheels. Unlike other wheels where the valve stem sticks out. The valve stem on the MS1R's is inset into the wheel. To access the valve stem there is actually an adaptor that allows you to inflate the tire. Thought that it was pretty trick!

very good choice so what offset did you go with. yes, it's a perk of high quality pricey rims. from my experience using the plastic valve extender ones you find a your local automotive stores are a lot easier to use and also found the don't strip the threads everytime you put them on and off, on and off, on and off.......oh one thing hide or take off your valve covers if you using these as daily drivers. but kids or haters love to take shiny valve covers especially it is more sick if they understand how important SSR ones are.

Ok guys, I made time this past weekend to test fit the wheels. Everything went pretty smoothly but it looks like I am going to have to shave 2mm off of the rear lower control arm. Other than that I just need to order my tires and I should be set to go.

SSR MS1R Goodness!!!

Nice shot of the lip and Super Black Coat finish.

Wheel mounted.

Lower Arm that needs to be shaved 2mm.

Wheels sit Flush!

Just enough caliper clearance.

I'm hoping to get ahold of Work and see if they have been made yet. If not, I may change my offsets to something more radical since I have air and flares here now too. Right now I ordered 15x8 +0. May see if I can change them to -15.
