Default Interested in having a CDT Audio dealer on SL?

Hey guys, just wanted to get your opinion. I own a high-end car audio company called Exige Audio. I'm licensed to sell CDT Audio speakers online, and Sundown & Stereo Integrity amps and subs locally. I've been mulling over whether or not get a silver sponsorship ($200ish) for the site and begin selling here. My offerings would be strictly CDT stuff unless you're local to me. My company is based on customer service. It is my goal to provide you with the best customer service in the business.

For those of you who are not familiar with CDT, please first check out their website here: www.cdtaudio.com

CDT is known for their high end speakers. From basic coaxial and component sets such as their CL line, all the way up to the ultra high end ES line, CDT components are some of the best in the business. They are known for their great imaging, detail, and overall sound quallity. CDT components are also well-known for their power handling capabilities. They'll get loud and clear off 50 watts, or you can send them as much as 250w (depending on the drivers used) and be blown away.

Secondly, CDT is known for their amazing customer service. Out of any company I've dealt with before (including Crutchfield), CDT's customer service is by far the best. Back in June, I blew a set of tweeters completely. It was entirely my fault, no doubt about it. Retail price on those tweeters was a nice and hefty $200. 3 days later, I had a new pair in my hands directly from them for $25. I was shocked. Last month, while installing a set of ES-06+'s, the screwdriver in my hand slipped and put a nice gash in the cone. CDT sent me a brand new driver at no charge. You just can't beat that.

If you guys decide you want my sales here on the site, my initial offering will the mid level EF components. These sets would feature upgrades all around. They would include the CF midrange (CF as in carbon fiber) which provides much better midbass and midrange than the basic EF driver. They would also include a never-gonna-kill-your-ears TW-25 silk tweeter. As an upgrade over the basic tweeters, these provide superior accuracy and detail. They will not hurt your ears like some metal tweeters are known to do. Lastly, they would include the 560i crossover. Using higher quality materials than the basic 450 and 480 crossovers, these provide cleaner, distortion-free sound, a nominal crossover point, and tremendous power handling capabilities. They also provide more connection and tuning options.

Pricing has yet to be set, but I will tell you this....I will beat ANY authorized dealer price-wise. My goal is to provide you guys with the lowest price around. We're talking bargains! NOTHING will be sold for anything remotely close to retail pricing. The component set I described above will surely be below $250. Retail price on that set is much higher than that.

So here's how it works. You guys get to decide if you want me on the site. Simply vote in the poll. If I'm not satisfied with the general consensus, I'll pack up my bags and move on.

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL NOT SELL ANY PRODUCTS HERE ON SCIONLIFE UNLESS I HAVE A SILVER SPONSORSHIP. I HAVE PURPOSELY LEFT MY AIM SN, EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER, AND ALL OTHER FORMS OF CONTACT OUT OF THIS POST SO THAT NO ONE CONTACTS ME FOR SALES. IF YOU CONTACT ME FOR SALES VIA PM BEFORE I HAVE A SITE SPONSORSHIP, YOU WILL RECEIVE A PM BACK STATING I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY ORDERS UNLESS I'M A SITE SPONSOR. I have been a member of the ScionLife community for quite a while now. I've enjoyed my time here and have learned many things about my tC. I will not be risking my membership here for a single sale, no matter how large. I value this forum more than any sale I could make. So no sales will be made unless I have a site sponsorship.

Lastly, just thought I'd share a few of my own pictures since I run CDT stuff.

great set of speakers whoever grabs a pair. Ive had mine for quite sometime and never once had thought about getting something else. Ive never heard any disortion with these speakers at all. There's always something bigger and better but i cant see myself letting these bad boys go. Dont be scared by the name and thinking its another no-name audio brand. Do some research on their site. Their products are very well built and look very clean aswell. Hope you become a seller on here bud!

Yeah i remember talking to you about the Z6's! The midbass on the CDT's won me over. My M6's pound. The Z6's are a fine set though too. I couldn't pay $600 for the set though! More power to you lol. Very nice set of speakers, real nice SPL too!

I wanna hear from all you audio gurus. What do you think? Do you want CDT here?

Would you actually be interested in purchasing one of their comp sets?

also just so you know..i cant sell you the mag....local sales only on stereo integrity and sundown. my advice is wait til the new one comes out in just a few weeks. its gonna be damn good. most likely the same price as well.
