Default San Diego Fires

Wow ummm yesterday was a freakin nightmare and im really hopeing everyone is okay. I feel like im living in an ash tray next to the beach and my front lawn is covered in ash. Was anyone in the Area where the fire broke out? If so good luck to you!

Things are only worse this morning. Best of luck to all directly involved. And those who are not directly involved, remember, try not to do any jogging (or other strenous physical activity) outside for the next few days at least...the air quality os not to good right now....

we're being evacuated...already...from escondido...theres another fire now in san marcos and on the wild animal park....its 7 o clock and it looks like 12 at night its getttin pretty scary...

the sky at 10:00
the smoke creepin in..

the tree that hit my window last night

up the hill at 8:00

the sky at 10:15 turnin orange meaning its really close...

the sun turnin red

also the sun




and of course have to throw my baby in there//great lighting from the red sun...

aS OF right now 8 of our estates have been evacuated....home owner assocation management is crazy at times like this!

Chula Vista residents can call (619) 397-6399 for a recorded message. An evacuation center has been opened at the Chula Vista Community Youth Center (campus of Chula Vista High School, 465 L Street). The Woods at Eastlake, areas of San Miguel Ranch and areas of Rolling Hills Ranch are under VOLUNTARY EVACUATIONS.

wow. at least 4 relatives of mine had to evacuate each of their homes. what a disaster.. it's like a deja vu of what happened 4 years ago when my area had an orange sky with ashes flying everywhere. doesnt appear to happen yet, but i predict it will by tomorrow. im in the southeast area - paradise hills/spring valley area. i heard the fire reached spring valley. :O

They evacuated Spring Valley back then?! I was pretty young and all I cared about was not having to go to school but now that Im in the business that im in I have to experiance it with them!

its happenin here at the moment my SW tc turned to Supa gray coz of ash fall sky is still orange gettin scary..still waiting for the evac to mandatory...we shuda left earlier but now the freeways are closed....we're pretty much trapped.. but its all good.they said they'll open it up pretty soon...

Spring Valley just evacuated.....I know its an aweful thing to say but it seems like the attention is focused more on the fires up north because of the value of the homes. Quite frankly if Spring Valley did brun down it may be a GOOD new begining for that town!
