Help, my car is falling apart at the seems!!
I was cleaning my car yesterday and i noticed that its coming apart at the seems. At first i thought it was dirt or something stupid like that, but to my surprise ITS A HUGE CRACK! Somebody if anybody knows, PLEASE HELP!! I constantly beat the living .... out of my car at the track, so maybe this has to do with it. The main problem here is that it gets worst and worst, the crack goes along the WHOLE inside wheel well:
BTW, this problem is only visible in the rear.
Here is a picture of my wheel well, the arrows point to the where the crack is located, you can't see it in this picture because the crack is inside the well.

This is the crack, this is where the red arrows on the first picture are pointing towards.

This is a close up of the same crack on the same wheel well

This crack is from the other side of the car, the other rear wheel well.

Yet another picture of my dismay.

I wasn't sure where to post this but i needed as much people to see this as possible to get as much feedback as necessary, i don't know how serious of a problem this can be.

This cracking appears to be the sealant over the factory seam cracking. I would not be concerned about the structure of the car. These areas are prone to some flexing. As the seam sealer ages it gets less flexible and is prone to cracking like this. It is also possible that the seam was not particularly well caulked at the factory. The seam sealer that is cracking is there to keep moisture out of the seams. I would recaulk these seams with a quality automotive flexible seam sealer available from your local auto body supply. Make sure the area is clean and dry before recaulking.
Correct. These cracks are simply in the sealer at these seams. The sealer is there to keep water etc out from between the 2 pieces of steel that are joined by spot welds in these areas. Flexation is normal, and often some cracking of the sealer may be normal as well, but, cracking of the sealer is certainly unwanted
Hmmm. A name brand flexible seam sealer is what you want. 3M brand is a good choice. There are many other manufacturers that have good products as well. Consult with the people at you lacal auto body supply. tell them where you are going to apply the sealer (in the wheel houses). They should be able to recommend a product from that information.
