I think the lowest drop on springs is 2.2 inches. If you want 2.5 you'll either need coilovers or a cutting torch.

As for the eBay bargains (I think you meant under $100), i believe in the saying "You get what you pay for". Quality coilovers from a reputable company cost around 1 to 2 thousand. What makes you think these aren't going to be 1/10th the quality? If it was a headunit or something that if it was crap, wouldn't endanger you, then I'd say save the money. But the suspension is something kinda important and quite often used...

yeah, um. Stay away from the ebay coil overs. Get the TIENS or the HKS coilover set-up. That way you at least know what your getting and don't have to worry about your struts going out. :D

ooooooo, not true on a scion. I have a 2inch drop and I now need struts. I am at 30,000 miles!!! How do you like them apples!! The RS*R springs are a 2inch drop and my struts lived through the life expectancy. Struts go bad around that milage. :D I have driven to vegas 5 times Socal 4 times and Sac 5 times. And I still drive it to work everyday. :D

Hmm, funny, I have the TEIN Wagon Dampners, made for the bB, but same psecs as Basic Dampners, but the most I got out of the front was 2.5 inches, and maybe 2/2.25 inch drop in the rear.

There is no way I have the same set-up as you, what series do you have? As far as I know TEIN only has the Basic set for the xB. If that's the case, I'd like to get those!

Dude, I can't even wonder why I didn't even catch that!! 4.5 is a drop to the ground on steelieswith no tires.

I just check the pic in his profile. Nice, clean ride, but definitely NOT lower than me. Which means, its either a typo, or something.

I saw the pic too, thats the stance that I have on my RS*Rs with 18s. So yeah squirrel is lower than that, hands down. Not a 4.5 drop, but still very nice pic in the grass. :D
