Default Some help please w/ TEIN profducts...

After much buzz about teins' products, I decided to take a look at what they might have to offer for the tC. Althought still in the development stages still...they offered afew different coil over set ups. And 2 types in the coils. But I'm wanting to looking into the advantages of a coil over set-up.

I understand the pricing, and I see that they will be offering different kits...but 1st I want to be alittle more educated in what to look for in terms of ride quality. I want that lowered stance(2" or more), and the nice ride. But I know I can't have them both...so I'm willing to compromise.

I hear alot of you talk about really paying attention to the spring rate. Why? This is all relatively new since I came from the "mini-truck" scene. So all I knew was airride?

I tried understanding the charts on TEINs website, but its abit difficult to follow, cause I don't know what to look for and why???

I know this may only be scratching the surface...but alittle help would be great.

Links would be nice too! :D

btw: if you know of any other companies that will be offering a coil-over sytem, please let me know. Its always go to have afew choices! You xB guys are abit more fortunate then us tC peeps!

I like the look of the HKS and Tanabe systems...but it not just about how they luk. :?

its not just about coilovers..i had the tein stech drop springs on my corolla with a 2.4/2.3 drop and it still had good ride quality on stock struts, even after a year. as for the tC the stech has the same drop as the max on the coilovers for a lot cheaper..granted the coilovers is an entire assembly, you could get cheaper aftermarket struts if you just want a nice drop and decent ride and are not too concerend about the adjustability you get with coilovers (ride height and damper).
