Re: Offset and spacer questions.

I am running 18X7 4-100 40HSM , with 225.40x18Yokohama S.Drive wheels. I would really liketo put 25mm spacers on the back wheels. Can I do that without causing rubbing of the sidewalls? I don't lower the car 'cause it's my everday drive, and I can't afford (not do I want) the air system.

Can anybody help? Ron

 

If you don't lower it you should be OK even with a 25mm but a 10mm makes a huge difference.

 

Thanks. I am looking at the 25mm 'cause it seems to be the only one that just bolts on to the existing bolts. I'm not into taking anything apart. Am I right on that? Thanks for the help. Ron

If you are talking about a 25mm wheel spacer them there is no way you're bolting that on with out having longer studs put it and that would be a HUGE pain to do. If you use a 10mm hub spacer on the rear it will be even with the front. Thats what I'm running in mine now. I have the OTG shims but you can get then from keiko (spelling?). The biggest I've seen is a 15mm shim and that would be more than enough.
