Default Mac Question

Looking to buy a Mac soon. I have been using Hackintosh VMWare images of Tiger and Leopard, but I want an actual Mac.

My question is - How good is the regular Macbook (not Pro) at processing video using what comes with iLife? I will be using it to make video, but I don't know how well the X3100 card processes video.

I couldn't tell you for certain, but the X3100 should be sufficient for editing. Certainly within iMovie. You'll have more of an issue doing heavy effects work, but even then, it'll get the job done.
