Default new member. need advice

hello, i just recently bought a used scion xb 2005. its all stock so far and i would like to put new wheels and tires on it and possibly drop the back a little to make it more parallel to the ground. i dont need nothing too fancy just want rims to look similar to racing style and black. dont want to spend more than a thousand dollars. is this possible? i dont know anything about tires or wheels so bare with me. any help appriciated. - Andy

Use the search button at the top. When you run out of threads there, go to EBAY. Yes, riace style wheels can be had for under a grand. Up to probably 18" new. If you go used, you can get a great set of JDM wheels for that that were 2-3 times that new.

if you search around you can find 18" rims and tires for under $1000. why just drop the back? if you buy a set of lowering springs it will drop the front, back, and make it more parallel to the ground.

If you only drop the rear it will look like a Gasser.
