well expect at most 2 hours for the work. don't let them charge you too much. its pretty easy. the rears with air tools take less then 15 minutes. fronts take a little time. get an alignment after about a month to set everything correct.

putting lowering springs on a xB is pretty easy. if you're good, you and a buddy could do it in about an hour. i would suggest looking for other xB owners in you area that would be willing to help you out before dropping $150 on it.

lift the rear till the tires are off the ground and unbolt the rear shocks 17mm and just push the shocks to the side and springs will come out and then just put the lowering springs and push the shocks back in and tighten the bolts and the rear is done no need for air tools in the rear or to remove your tires

OKAY
lift frontend and remove tires..... bolts that hold strut mount on top loosen with a 12mm..... 2 bolts that hold the strut on the bottom are 3/4" or 19mm and also need to remove brake line braket belive it is a 14mm and then the top nut to remove spring is 3/4" but you need to get some spring compressors to remove the oem springs rent it a auto zone or kragen or what ever you have in texas and the same way you took them out the way you put them back in recomend for first timer do the fronts one at a time good luck if you decide to do it on your own
