Reviews like this can give you a good general view of the product quality though.
Ive used 4 different sets of pads during the 2 years ive had my car... Here is the list
1.) OEM
2.) EBC Green
3.) EBC Red
4.) Hawk HPS
Well to begin we all know how the OEM pads feel, obviously... As for the EBC pads, they aren't great but they are more aggressive than the Hawk HPS, but they have a tendency to fade.
If your not going to race your car than i suggest stick with the OEM pads or get the Axxis, I personally would never put Axxis pads on my car because they suck! But if your sticking OEM than they will suffice.
As for racing experience the EBC green bite less than the red, because its made of a more aggressive material, but they fade alot more than the reds. The Hawk HPS have less bite than the green, but dont fade, you get consistent brake pedal feel during the whole day at the track, which is a VERY good thing. Right now im running on the reds, or whatever is left of them after the track day a couple of weeks back. They tend to squeal a little when their cold but when they warm up they become quiet again.
If you have any questions just let me know.
