Default Sportmax 002 Wheels... need help!!!

Hey guys... i'm unsure of what to do!!! I want to get the Sportmax 002 for my box but am not sure of what the final desicion will be, 15X8 or 16X8. My car has a drop of about 1.8 i have the Tein S on it... I would like some feedback on what to buy. Anybody who has these installed on they cars, please let me know if you have had any issues on these........... I mean, i know they stick out a little but will the 16X8 be to much???

Get the 16X7 with 38 offset and no probs, can run your stock tires. The 16X8s have a 0 offset and a wider lip. I think you can easily go with either size.

I got the 15x8 to fit with ZERO issues.

NO RUBBING AT ALL, WITH 4 PEOPLE AND HARD DIPS.

I have the 15x8 but mine has a big drop and I ran into rubbing prob but knew that before I got them. I agree with EZ the 15x7 just looses to much of the lip if you ask me.

I agree about the lip. I'm just trying to get by with not having to buy new tires to replace my stocks. I'm not sure an 8" rim would work with the narrow tire for a daily driver.

if you want to use your stock tires go with something with a higher offset like the 501s, people with 15x8 002 are using tires like 195/45 and 195/50 series the stock tire will prob rub like crazy

Thanks. i have a xD which has a 16X7 5X100 stock rim with 195 60R16 tires.

I think the 002 with the 7" width and 38 offset will be no problems, but I don't know about the 002 wide lip which is 8" with 0 offset. I think my tires would be stretched too far.

oh you have an xD i thought you had an xB, a 185 width tire is stretching it alot but ive seen it done with the 8 inch wide 002 but a 195 tire will be fine it has a "nice stretch to it IMO

there is a guy who is trading or selling his 002's in 16 on here. look in the ppc wheel area and you can get an idea of what a 16 002 looks like on a dropped box.
