Yup, I recommend Goldline springs also, unless you're getting coilovers. If you're going to get sway bars, there is the Hotchkis set that ioncludes both front and rear, and there is also the Progress rear bar, for more aggressive driving. Most go with the Hotchkis set-up, and will add the Progress bar at a later time.

I'm on TEIN coilovers and Hotchkis sway bars. I also have the TRD strut tower brace. I originally had Spy springs, but if Goldlines were available over a year ago, I would have gotten those.
PM Alex (Bluebox) and see if he knows the best place to get Goldlines. Tell him squirrel sent you.
Thanks for the props.
FYI, some other options are:
Eibach Prokit, Average lowering 1.6" Front / 2.0" Rear at $223.00 *
H & R, Sport Spring, Average lowering 1.5" Front / 1.4" Rear at $179.00 *
Hotchkis, Sport Spring, Average lowering, 1.4" Front / 1.6" Rear $158.00 *
* = Plus shipping.

To really help with stiffening up the body roll and have a comfortable ride, I would highly recomend the RS*R springs. Great ride , very low body roll and still put you at a 2in drop stance. :D

Yup, strut tower braces on the xB is more for looks. Look how close the strut towers are to the firewall, practically welded to it. There isn't going to be hardly any flex there. At least not enuff to be noticable the way we drive it.
That dosen't do anything. I have the same brace on my XB. It's more for looks than and not performance
You're not going to feel any difference in handling.
now who said i was going to keep it this way? i'm welding bars from that DC to the front corners or maybe a little lower. I'm using it to tie it all together. the little 10mm bolts they use to attach the upper radiator support is a joke. for 90bucks its strong and did alot of work for me
think of something like this...sorta

btw...has anyone made a masterbrake cylinder bracing bracket yet?
something like this

vid of how a master cylinder flexes. some like this mod...some don't. pedal becomes stiffer like using metal braided brake lines

RS*R is the way to go, especially with a tC sway bar!!:twisted:
