I thought it was alright. Wasn't any better than the first, I guess they want you to watch all the movies to understand what was going on. The movie could have been a whole lot better if they hadn't jumped around too much. They kept jumping scenes which made following the story very difficult. Remember the Predator nor the Aliens don't speak a word of English. What made it worse was none of the humans knew what was going on either. Very frustrating that all the action scenes where in the dark. Lame. It was hard to get a good look at the Alien/pred hybrid. The predator was so cool tho! really best part of the movie was the predator.
Yeah I don't know why, but I thought it was kind of a let down. Maybe it was the acting, or too much alien not enough predator. It was good, but not what I hoped for.
***SPOILER BELOW***
My favorite part was the very end, when the government dude gave that lady the predator's gun. Her name was Ms. Yutani.
That's cool (to me at least) because in the Alien movies, the company Ripley works for is called Weyland-Yutani Corp. And in the first AvP the rich dude was Weyland, as well as the same actor that played Bishop, the android in Aliens. So they've had Weyland, and Yutani referenced in the AvP movies. Just thought it was cool that they added that, even though it really had nothing to do with the movie itself. And I'm sure if people didn't know the reference, they were wondering why the hell they showed that lol.
***END SPOILER***
And end my Alien/Predator movies dork knowledge.

So that raises the question that if those who created Weyland-Yutani Corp. (the corporation from the Alien movies) are in a current time period, where are the Predators during time period the Alien movies take place.
It's cool that they referenced Weyland and Yutani, but it's going to be hard to continue the story if they want to go that way. Because they'll have to lead up to why there are no Predators in the Alien movie universe to make it all fit. Unless someone tries to re-create the Alien universe which would never go over well nor would it be cool.
^^ Maybe something happen to the Predator race during the time period of the Alien movies or maybe The Predators could be hunting bigger and better aliens some where else during the time period of the Alien movies. LOL AVPR/ AVP 2 was ok. I like it better then the first AVP. I wish they would make Batman vs Predator movie. I think that will be kind of crazy. lol
