Polishing/removing scratches from glass
So my foglights are fairly pitted and non-new looking after almost 50K miles, and I was wondering if there's a way to polish/sand/smooth them back to a much clearer state.

Havent tried it before. My unlucky **** caught two rocks, at two different times, right in the fogs, so both of mine have been replaced at one time or another 
I have Blue rockblocker overlays on them to help prevent it from happening again. Also makes them look less scratched up as well.
