Default will this tire fit the stock rim???

So i was browing tire rack looking for some good all seasons .. and came across a kuhmo that gets awesome reviews...

problem is .. the people claim that the tires are too narrow for the size they claim .. so they are saying go one size bigger...

i planned on running a 185 65 15" ....

but would a 195 65 15" fit ?

I already know the 65 series over the 60 (stock) will fit

but will the 65 height with the 195 width on the stock rim work ? - thanx alot

tom

Yes, it'll be a tad bit taller though.

Our fitment team is recommending the following 15" fitments for the xB, the 195/65R15's at 25.0 inches in diameter will more than likely be a little tall for the xB.

Tire Size / Overall Diameter

185/60-15 / 23.7"
195/55-15 / 23.4"
205/55-15 / 23.9"
215/50-15 / 23.5"

even if they are a bit taller .. explain why they wont work ?

what is the size of a 19" rim and a 215 35 19" tire ? ...

there seems to be plenty of clearance to fit the 195 65 15 ... can someone confirm for sure if they will fit

your speedo will be off. . . that should be about it. . . assuming the width is suitable for a 5.5" wide rim

How does this "fitment team" determine the tires they recommend? Do they actually try the tires on the car, or do they simply select tires that are close to the stock diameter?

I personally wouldn't run a 215 wide tire ona 5.5 inch wide wheel. But that's just me. I don't know anything.

fitment team = tire size calculator

the tire you asked about is a bit tall, so your speedo will be off by more than usual. just keep that in mind when you're driving around.

The speedo already reads high, so taller tires will tend to make it more accurate!
