Default High beam on tc

Hey everyone I just installed HID on my 08 tc and need to do something bout the high beam. So should I install HID for high beam or do what?

I think having the low beam is enough because they are extremely bright and if you don't use high beam often then there is no point of getting it for the high beam.

how often do you use your high beam anyway?

if you really want whiter high beas just do silverstars, it isnt worth all the extra cash for something you rarely use

and the fact that when most people typically use them.. they flash it.. (and flashing HIDs kills the igniter)

or you could do what a lot of people are doing and putting in yellow bulbs on the high beams its great for being in heavy fog

ebay...I just got my Nokya ones in...love them. Just type in Nokya 9005 yellow and a bunch come up at many prices. I think i got mine shipped to my house for like 9 bucks and they came in 3 days.

i have an 08 tC and i was looking for sylvania silverstar bulbs to put in it, but the sylvania website doesnt show that it has any bulbs for the 08.

any help?

I've had both, and I prefer my Nokyas. I had Silverstar Ultras before, and then I got a set of 4 Nokya Arctic Whites. This was with the 9005 mod. The Nokyas have already lasted longer than the Silverstars did, and I prefer the color of the Nokyas too (completely white, no hint of yellow at all).

o love the nokyas. I have those yellow ones on high beams and i have sylvannias on the lows and i wanna switch them out to the nokyas and go all yellow

i have HIDs in my Highs and i love them, i use them all the time, i would say 80% of my driving is at night

And you drive with your high beams on all the time ?

just when i need to, and they are very helpful, i can see a lot further and everthing is way more clear with the HIDs in the highs, i didnt get them because they looked cool, i bought them for their function

And with the Nokya yellows, in day time they reflect and light up the whole housing with a yellow tint whcih i think looks very cool

I get the same thing with my Nokya whites in the high beam housing. The bulbs are blue, not just a little, but pure blue, so my tC has blue eyes in the daytime.
