Default spring compressor

is it possible to put the trd springs on a tc w/o having a spring compressor? i wanna get the springs from mc george parts for 118 but dont feel like spending the money to have them installed. has any one tried it, im sure its a pain in the ___. too bad i dont know any one with one to borrow one. if they are kinda cheap i might considering buying one

Did a Tc this past Sat. and yes you do need the Spring Compressors... Just make sure not to use an Impact Gun on them as it can damage the springs and the compressors..... Good Luck on the install... I've got a manual in pdf format if you need any direction.... L8R....

for the installation of the trds on the tC, you really only need the spring compressor for the rear set-up, and please remember to mark where the top and bottom pieces align. Or else your gonna have to re do the whole set-up again.

At the scion central here in norcal we charge 150.00 to install the springs and it takes us two hours on the dot. If you are in the are, you should just stop on by and we can handle the job for ya.

oh yeah I forgot about that! We are raising funds for the waiting room xbox, that will need testing in my office as soon as we get it. Testing is a long and harsh period too.

Don't worry everyone I don't charge hidden fees.

Hey Mr. LavaLava,

You think you could e-mail me your PDF instructions for the TRD spring install for the Tc? I'm gonna try to install them this weekend and I'd appreciate it.

I never cut the bump stops on my xB when I had the Spy springs. Never had a bottoming problem either. Well, I scraped alot in SoCal on their speed bumps.
