Do the OTG style hub spacers work on the front wheels?

I just ordered my 15" Konig Heliums and I'm about to order 20mm OTG style spacers for the rear, but I'd like for the front to be wider as well. The wheels are 40mm offset so I think the 20mm rear hub spacers should make it flush with the fender....right?

 

Wheel spacers, Yes, Hub spacers, NO. they mount differently, VERY differently.

 

20mm rear hub spacers will make the rear pretty flush. but you could probably bring them out just a little more.

 

You'd have to get wheel spacers and longer studs to do the front... it works, but it's not as straight forward as doing the hub spacers.

 

Should I assume that there's no safe way to use spacers on the front?

 

No, there is, but you need to swap for longer wheel studs. Otherwise, it's unsafe.
