Default B.F. Goodrich Traction TA 205/55/16 OK on xA?

I want a 16 inch long lasting all season tire. The "proper size" B.F.Goodrich 205/50VR16 Traction T/A is only a 440 wear tire but they also have a 205/55TR16 that is a 620 wear. I'd rather go with the latter but will it fit my 2006 Xa ? The former is 24.1 inches and the latter 24.9 inches diameter. I can deal with the speedometer being a bit off...

Thanks!

That'll be fine, unless you're lowered quite a bit, then it might rub.

If you're stock height, it's all good.

Thanks for the info! Some of the reviews of the "V" tire on tirerack had me scared they wouldn't last but some other reviewers had good luck with them. They are warrenteed for 60K miles so how bad can they be? It's not like this little motor generates enough power to wear them much anyways . I think the 55 series tires would look too much like the stock 60's so I think I'll give a set of the V's a try. If they don't last I can always try the others next. Wish me luck!
