High Performance Brake Pads and Shoes
Ok As the Title states.... High Performance Brake Pads and Shoes.... Who has them?? how much did you spend on them? What is a good Brand to go with and are they worth it?? Its getting close to that time for me to replace my Brake Pads and shoes and have been considering going with better pads. Any info would help. Thanks guys.
I have:
Project U Type NS front pads
Quick Stop Pro slotted/drilled rotors
Steel braided lines (all 4)
the best mod of these for braking power, was the braided lines..
the pads are awesome.. my buddy has the Hawks and they perform equally, but mine arent as noisy (no noise, squeel) at all in comparison, the EBC pads are also great from what I hear, but I have never seen/used them..
My rotors have yet to warp or eat my pads prematurley, as is popular opinion..
Good Luck!

Thanks everyone..... I should have mentioned in my original post that I do have some drilled and slotted rotors on my box as well. I will have to look into where I can get the pads here or if I have to mail order them then I will do that. I have also been wanting to get the steel braided brake lines too. Thanks again

Ive used:
Hawk HP
Hawk HP+
EBC Green
EBC Yellow
I race my car, thats why ive been through so many pads. The big difference here is found in the SS lines, then then pads and last the fluid. Its not necessary to change to Motul 600 unless your racing, on daily driving your not going to pass 300 degrees, so OEM fluid should do fine. As for the lines, any will do, as long as their SS lines, i bought Agency Power because they were the only ones available at the moment. Now for everyday driving i suggest getting something or anything better than OEM which will turn out to be ANYTHING on the market: Axxis, EBC, Hawk, Project U, Akebono etc... I say get one of the 365 MotorWerks combo packages for pads and lines and you should be good to go.
