Default D2 Coilover Questions

I just got a set of used D2's from ceedub at WeaponR, but I have some questions about the set up. Feel free to respond to any or all of the questions.

1) Is there a specific way to insert the damper adjusting rod? I screwed on the washer with the oil drips (i.e. numbers) on it, but it seems like the way it sets up is random. Just to be safe turned the **** clockwise until it stops. Should the arrow on the **** line up with something specific?

2) When adjusting the damper, should there be clicks like on the Tokico Illuminas? My friend actuall brought this question up because he has the Tokicos.

3) How can I take out the springs on the front set up? Can I just unscrew everything from the bottom or do I need to go from the top? Will I need to compress the new springs to put them in?

4) To adjust the camber, does the car need to be jacked up?

5) With the set up I have now, I get some weird noise coming from the front driver's side. Whenever I turn or hit a dip/bump in the road, a squealing noise comes out. It sounds like it has something to do with the tires. The tires are not rubbing the fender or the plastic under the fender, or at least there is no evidence that it is rubbing. Any ideas on what this may be and how to correct it?

Here's how my car looks with the current set up.
