Default Anything better then Falken Ziex 512?

my tires on my sportmax wheels (501) wore all crazy and are all down to the cords after regular rotations and about 15K miles. they roared like off road tires when i got them and well i dunno. im disappointed. got them from tires.com (awesome btw) and now that i read the reviews again they are all ALL negative.

i was looking at Bridgestone and Dunlop but i want that Falken stretch and i dont think im going to get that.

whats a good 195/50R15 tire thats good in dry and decent for wet. Carolina rains (now that we finally got some) are usually hair raising and i needs to put that in consideration too. i also dont want to spend more then what the 501's cost me. that wouldst be practical ;-)

how are those Fusion tires? i see them on everything nowadays

Falken or Kumho will be your best bet.

I am on my second set of Kumhos---good value for the money and have not had problems with rain. Unlike most Californians---I slow down in the rain---too much oil on the road.

Falken ziex 329, similar to the 512's but seem better to me.

They wear pretty well, I'm running camber, have never rotated
and thats been for about a year.

I have had Kumho on other cars and IMO they suck. I have stretched BFGoodrich G-Force Sports on the xB and love them. Low noise and they are wearing great.

From what I've heard the Bridgestones may have too stiff of sidewalls for stretching and the Coppers are too stiff as well.

Well i got tires...........

The place i went to said the had some 512's in stock. that was Wednesday. well yesterday i get a call on my cell (i left it at the house) they found only 3 tires on stock. grrrr i say. this same problem happened to my mom on her 02 Rolla S. anyhoo i go there this morning about 7:30 when they open. after 10 minutes of talking and scratching my head i ended up with Federal V rated tires. even though their were the same size as the 512's but no stretch. now i cross my fingers i hope rub cuse they damn look like they would!!!

ill take pics soon. but they do look like they'll last a bit longer and wet performance looks good too.

Yeah, I had 512's on my Legend and they were awesome. The 912's will be my next purchase 65K warranty and better performance than the 512 for less!

bad news....

The Federals are rubbing like a fat girl's thighs in spandex.

im really ____ed because its only the passenger rear rubbing. what makes no sense is that the baby seat and the box/amp are on teh drivers side. and im the only one that drives.

i know nothing about fender rolling but the way i looked at the wheel and the metal fenders is i have to actually cut them for clearance. its bad enough i drilled holes into my car for the fender flares. i dont know that to do. im so ____ed off and im not going to buy tires again anytime soon. argh.

should i raise hell at the tire shop for being dumbasses or no?
