Level?
So it all started when I replaced my stock wheels and tires with some 205/40/17's The setup looks great...but now it looks a bit silly. There is a apx 4 inch gap from the top of the tire to the wheel well. I would like to shrink it a bit.
Reading about lowering springs I see most are some combination of 1.6" front and 2.0" rear or vise versa. Maybe a half inch here or there.
SO my question is...
What would look the best...maybe is up to the driver.. What would "level" the car? I can see maybe a lower front...kind of an aggressive look...but I think a lower rear would look silly
2.0-2.0, 1.6-2.0, 1.8-2.0, 1.6-1.6????????
I found two sets on eBay. one is 1.6 front and 2.0 rear and another is the opposite.
I have read that you should stay less than 2 inches. so I guess that's a start..
If anyone can post some pictures of examples.....
thanks

This is the set up I'm running. Tanabe DF 210 springs with Toyota Echo Struts. The spring drop is 2.2f and 2R plus an extra 1/2" from the struts. With it all settled I would think the front is dropped around 2.75" and the rear somewhere around 2.25. Its a nice drop and I haven't had any problems with it.
