trying to find a signature...
I know this is going to be like finding a needle in a hay stack, but i figure its worth a shot. Some time ago I saw someones signature here on scionlife. It had to do with a man turning 30, asserting himself to time, and being afraid of time itself. Something along the lines of that. Im sure its a quote from somewhere, im wondering if anyone knows who's sig it is, or what im talking about, or even maybe where it is from.
Any help would be much appreciated!

". . . a day comes when a man notices or says that he is thirty. Thus he asserts his youth. But simultaneously he situates himself in relation to time. He takes his place in it. He admits that he stands at a certain point on a curve that he acknowledges having to travel to its end. He belongs to time, and by the horror that seizes him, he recognizes his worst enemy. Tomorrow, he was longing for tomorrow, whereas everything in him ought to reject it. That revolt of the flesh is absurd." - Albert Camus
I believe this is the quote you are looking for. It is from philosoper Albert Camus's story "The Myth of Sisyphus." Sisyphus is a man that has been condemned to some layer of hell and has to push a rock up a hill for the rest of eternity as his punishment. The whole story basically about how he is an "absurd hero" because he accepts his fate of pushing a rock up a hill forever, and in accepting his punishment, it's not really a punishment anymore. I forgot the exact details of the story, but I wrote a paper about it in a philosophy class of mine when I was a sophomore in college.
It's one of my all time favorite quotes, and I've used it in many of my profiles for quite some time. At one point I might have had some variation of it in my scionlife signature. I hope it's what you're looking for.
