Default Front Strut Choices?

I have a 1-2 inch drop on my xb, from a old post, what would you guys go with.

The choices for the front are:
1. OEM Tokico struts from Scion dealer or a Tokico vendor.
2. KYB GR-2 struts #333385.
3. Tenneco SensaTrac struts #71575 (either Monroe or NAPA), are for Echo, will lower xB 1/2".
4. Tenneco SensaTrac struts (either Monroe or NAPA), made for xB and available soon.
5. Koni struts 8710-1403, adjustable soft to hard without removing.
The SensaTracs are about $60 each and the Konis are about $160 each, with Tokicos and KYBs in between and closer to the SensaTracs.

So, if I have a 1-2 inch drop already would I get the 71575 because that will be the sweet spot? Or should I get the sensatracs made for the xB, which I'm guessing they made for the factory height?

I love my Monroes up front but would have gotten Konis if cost was no issue. Not really worried about the adjustability tho.

Anyone have a part number for the Monroe front struts and rear shocks for the xa? I have s-tech lowering springs on now and want to help make the ride a little smoother. Putting the Monroes all the way around will help right?

The difference for me is night and day. My fillings now get to stay in my mouth. LOL It's almost a 100% increase in ride smoothness.

Awesome to hear, thanks! I may try them out. Now just gonna find the best price online, but I have nothing else to do now anyways so I'll start my search. Thanks again for the information.

Just incase check out that site and look them up for an xA. It might be a different part number but they should be the same.

I just checked, and it has the xa listed as applications. Thanks again man. I really want to help make the ride better. I have the s-tech lowering springs and hope those monroe shocks/struts help.

They def. will. I had to bug Monroe over and over to finally make a replacement strut/shock for us.
The springs support the weight but the strut/shocks smooth out the ride for sure. Now the suspension actually soaks up the bumps instead of passing it on to the passengers like before. Let me know what you think after you get them installed. Also, I re used the stock upper strut nut and used the new one over it to keep it from comming loose. I've had that happen a couple times right after installing new springs. Now it stays tight.
