Default e-mail scams!!!

yesterday in the news i saw a report by this guy who got an email that stated:

For the small charge of $35, you can have the password for any e-mail account you want.

The guy didn't believe it so he gave the sender another 1 of his accounts. The sender got back at him saying he got it but couldn't give him the password until he paid the $35. To prove that he had the password, he gave the guy a list of all the contacts in the account.

The guy was terrified and amazed but told the sender he didn't need the password anymore. The sender replied saying that he found out that he asked for the password of another personal account, and said that it violated the terms of agreement and policy of his company so now he HAD to pay or else the sender would take negative measures against him.

The guy had to pay and then changed all the passwords, then wrote the article he presented in the news the next day.

Take all ur sensitive info emails out of ur inbox!! and change ur passwords every once in a while!!!

I will today...
