i want YOUR opinion
Well i have finally decided that i do not want to spend my money on going f/i with my tC but rather build a side project that i can race at the track.
Now one of my good friends who wants to join in on the project wants to go with a DSM. He drives a 2g 320hp eclipse so he is a big DSM fan and he says that we should find a 1g talon, laser, or eclipse shell and go F/I with that (we havent really talked about details such as what turbo to go with and such)
I am not as biased as he is so i am just thinking about getting an old honda shell and doing an engine swap which in my opinion could be almost as fast as the DSM (a bit slower since it wont be F/I) and cost a bit less without some of the headaches that can go with turbocharging a car.
I want your opinions as to which would be a better first side project. Remember im a college student so i do not have alot of funds.
Thank you for any replys.

yeah i totally agree with that but im just thinking about the cost of a 4g63 with a turbo versus a gutted crx or del sol or hatch with a b18 or b16, i would keep it NA since high comp engines do not do well with boost.
im thinking the honda will definitely be cheaper and less of a headache in the long run. its going to be almost strictly auto-x and track events.
