Default Kumho Ecsta ASX, again

I finally got my set of these (in 195/60-15) put on today. Including shipping from Tire Rack, installation, and tax, the whole mess ran me $290.

This is my first set on this car, but I had a set of these tires on my previous vehicle, and they were fantastic, especially for the price. They are replacing godawful walmart tires-- pink pencil erasers glued together and painted black would have been better.

On a related note, has anyone gone to get tires (or any other work done, for that matter), and not been able to get their car onto a lift? The tire/oil change/muffler/brake place I went to (a mom-n-pop operation) couldn't physically get the arms of the lift under my xB, so my tires had to be pulled and installed one at a time in the parking lot with a floor jack. Luckily, the guy doing it didn't give me a hard time about it. I'm on the TRD springs, with stock side skirts (if I had gotten my Tsunami skirts on, I'm not sure a floor jack would even fit), so it's not like I'm that low.

I have no problem racking mine at work. I have H Techs, which are a 1" drop and stock skirts!

So, it's just me and my choice of shop, it looks like. Awesome.
Haha.

Still, I can't wait to get these tires scrubbed in.

Yeah, this is my 2nd set (the first was on the Subaru I previously had-- the Kumhos were a night and day difference over the Bridgestones that came with that car), and I know of several other people rolling on them too, who are all pretty happy.
The Kumhos really shine when you consider what they cost. The only other tires I could have gotten at this price were off-brand garbage. Yes, there are better tires out there, but I didn't want to spend $400-500 on tires if I didn't have to.

Ditto on ASX. Great rubber. Just got a new set. Replacing my current 205/16's with 215's. The 205's have 15k. Anyone intererested, going on Ebay in a couple days.
