I have a Gen 1 xB, which I bought when I was 23. I am not at all interested in the xB2, though my 61-year-old father reeeeealllllyyy likes them.

So...yeah. Thank goodness for the tC. ;)

Whatever, all of my friends (16-24) think my xB2 is cooler then my xB1 and it had 18's custom paint and a billion other mods, my xB2 is stock... for now.
but like i said whatever, this isn't the thread to debate... more.

I don't think that Scion is a "cooler" car, it is just a better value. Look at the tC, tell me where you can get a car with all of those features stanard, an engine with the track record like the one in the tC and xB2 and get all that for less than 20k. I think scions are cool, but they are also great values, and when you get a college grad entering the job world, a nice new car that doesn't run you $400+ a month is a bonus.
