can you run stock rear or would it be wise to swap with an after market strut?

Between Progress and K-sport, I'd probably go Progress, though I think there are better choices out there as far as adjustability and durability go.

I'm sitting at 10k miles on my setup, and my right front coilover is blown (I'll be sending it in shortly), and I've developed a minor case of surface rust.

If you get them, keep your invoice for warranty claims, and make sure you spray the bodies of the front coils with etching primer and a couple coats of paint.

What state are you from?

I imagine I'd have a far worse case of rust on my hands if I lived in WI over PA. And to add to that, I didn't even drive my car this winter, outside of 20 days in January where we had no snow.

I would recommend going with Ksports....I have them and love them. Wouldn't run any other coilover. Plus you have 36 different adjustments for the dampening. so you can adjust them to how soft or stiff you want the ride to be. Have had no isses with any sort of rust. Great Product!!

Here are a few pics of my ride with them dropped a 3" I can still take it lower if I want as well....

i dont have the progress coilovers on my xb, but my gf has them on her tc and my club built an xa for scion corp that had them on it and they both rusted very bad. on my gfs tc one of the struts blew rather quickly, maybe 3 months after it was installed but other then that, i havent heard any other negatives about them. i would like to upgrade from the progress springs i have now to the coilovers...
