We'll I officially hate UPS
I had a package coming that was supposed to be here today and well its not.
UPS' excuse...
ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS
it says that its in Anaheim, CA
which is basically where i am and there are no "Weather Conditions" here
so i say...
WUDDAFUXUP?

when i bought a set of WORK wheels for my first gen box, they mysteriously lost one of them
...they paid for it, but i had to wait another month for the replacement wheel from japan!

i hate them because they don't like to ever ring my door bell ... and then they leave me a nice little note saying i missed the delivery and that i have to go pick it up ... even though i was home the whole time.. grrr
Charged $100 to ship a CF air splitter when online quoted $30!
And another thing is that always deliver my packages at the end of the day. I sat at home waiting for my rims and they didn't come until 6pm. Happened two times!!! haha

Ok so i called UPS and asked them why my package was delayed
It turns out there aren't any weather conditions in Anaheim, but there are in Ohio.
Because of the floods there, there has been a backup of packages.
My package was being shipped from Ohio.
Even though it said it had it departure scan already done from Illinois, its still gonna be late....
I still hate UPS,
next time im gonna ship w/ Fed Ex, DHL, or USPS.

my friend bought a computer and had it shipped UPS. It arrived damaged, so he filed an insurance claim for 600 bucks, the covered amount. that was one month ago, they still havent called back.
He now refers to them as the "f--- ups"

UPS has always been great for me honestly, deliveries are timely and arrive when they should. Goes to show service depends on your location.
Reason #1:
Watched a UPS driver who was picking up from a specialty manufacturer at Christmas time throwing the boxes up onto the top shelf in the back of the truck. When I asked "What happens if something breaks?" His response was "That's what insurance is for."
Reason #2:
Ordered expensive graphic design software, and requested FedEx shipping, after explaining that UPS would just leave it on my doorstep if I wasn't home. (I lived on a street that had the front doors of all the condos 10' from the street & in clear view of anybody driving by; package theft was already a problem. I was between jobs and didn't have a work address to deliver to.) Company said they would send it UPS overnight / signature required so that UPS would not leave it if I wasn't there to sign for it. I waited all day Friday for the delivery. As I was pulling around the first corner, leaving home at 7:30pm to be gone all weekend, I saw the UPS truck. By the time I turned around and got back home, the package was sitting on my doorstep and the truck was gone... lucky me that I saw the truck and turned around.
Reason #3:
Living at the same condo as reason #2, instructed a handgun manufacturer that was doing some custom work on a fully functioning 9mm to ONLY ship it FedEx overnight signature required (they've never left anything at the door w/o a signature). They sent it UPS signature required anyway... you know where this is going. UPS came early in the morning, left it on the doorstep, rang the bell, and drove off. I was home, and opened the door in time to watch the truck drive down the street... lucky UPS that I was there, or they could have been responsible for another stolen gun on the streets.
3 strikes, you're out UPS!
