Default Gothbox wheel choice- round 4

ok, because I sold my 002s, i want to get some XXR 513s in black.
my prob is do I get the 15x8 again, or go with the 15x7? I have a set of new tires that are 195/50/15 is the only reason I am going back with 15, not 16. I had a 195/45/15 tire on the 002s and it still rubbed on big dips on the hwy.
so with a slightly taller tire, I am worried that they will rub even worse.

the other thing is that the gothbox is already worked over to run the 15x8 0 offset, if I run the 15x7 I figured I could run some spacers to help with the flushness.

Also I would like to be able to swap wheels around between gothbox and DOA, as I have posted before, the 002s the tires sat on the fenders on DOA. I need to be able to roll at full drop at least in the back, witch I may be able to do if I ran -3 camber.

SO.... do I get 15x7 and get some spacers?
OR get 15x8 and just deal with it?

already pulled fenders for 15x8 0-offset

what 15x8 0-offset looks like on DOA

thanx again guys.

you don't think the rubbing will be that much worse with a 195/50 vs the 195/45 tire I had on the same size wheel?

a -3 camber should sole that right?

that slight difference in tire should be solved by the camber.

yeah, but if you do that, you're going to have less stretch, and the tire will be taller.

I'm thinking you're gonna need the 15x8, and the camber to clear everything.

yea its time to update the look of the gothbox,
I put blacked out stock tails on, and blacked out the rest of the side markers, so i need new wheels too.

who knows maybe a new paint job in the future as well.

if there was not a van running around Memphis that was done up in it I would be all over it. Its got to be something diff then anything else around.

I am leaning towards a red, flat red of coarse.

I had thought about white, and do dry erase board paint on it, and then do the hood, and hatch in chalkboard for that "panda" look. But that paint job would be to much work for me.

actually the paint on there, the bottom lighter color is terra cotta paint, and then a dark brown that is watered down 50/50 with water and put on and dabbed off as soon as you put it on.

I was thinking something like this maybe.

I also found these wheels, 15x7.5 0mm offset.
they come in red and gunmetal. I could always paint them black.
