Biggest drop with 18's
What's up everyone,
I have a question to pose.
What is the lowest drop possible for an xA that has the TRD 18"/Pirelli Nero combo.
I was trying to see if I could buy tein springs with a 1.7" drop.

you didnt even specify your tire size, your wheel width and offset?
if its just those civic wheels everyone rocks, u can probably go past 3" drop.
im a lil past 3" drop and i barely rub if any at all.

i had my bro/sis in the car at the time of the photo,
but for sure im lowered a good 3.25 or so

oooppss. Sorry.
I have these Pirelli Neros with these tire specs 225/35R18, I was also thinking of getting thicker tires like 225/45 when the ones I have die out. Would this also work?

im guessing you're running 18x7.5 with an offset of 44 or something huh?
those are some massive tires u have for 18's!
i hve 215/35 series and i still wish i went thinner!
anyways... i think 225/45 will barely fit but it might rub
your shocks or the out fender depending on what your exact wheel specs are!
i would suggest 215/40 for a better ride.
like its taller but since ur wheels aren't all crazy, it'll be ok and u'll haev more meat to the ground, going wider
doesn't mean it'll ride better, but going taller might

Alright, its official, I am an idiot.
I made a mistake in the tire specs.
My tires are actually 215/35ZR 18, wheels are 18X7.5 offeset=?
Sorry about being a confused man! :?

i suggest u go with 215/40 if ur rim/suspension combo can take it, goto a wheel shop and ask them do they think u can rock the 215/40 safely? if u can, the ride will be much smoother...
also the tire pressure, and tire choice itself has a lot to do with how it rides and corners

hey man anytime, im just glad i can help u,..
but honestly, i suggest u take ur car to a wheel shop
and have them be the judge, they work with cars
all day and they're the real professional, buy suggestions
are really just a 'GUESS' on things. it may be wrong.
