I just installed camber shims stacked with spacers and now the car alignment is off. any one have this problem? if so how did you guys fix it?

 

Im guessing you installed the camber shims to make the car look cool. Well thats the trade off. To get the alignment back to spec you would obviously have to go back to stock (ie: remove the shims).

 

do your camber shims have the "Toe correction"?
what brand do you have? The "alighment should be on unless the front is out, but obviously the "Camber" is going to be way off in the rear because of the shims.. There is no alighment adjustment in the rears at all. could it be that the guy at the alighment shop said your alighment was off because the camber was out of spec, or does the box pull?

lots of things we do to our cars are trade off's... throw some nice big wheels on there and your spedo will be off... lower the box and your alighment may be out of spec... go turbo and your air fuel mixture will be out of whak (unless you use fuel management)...as stated there is always a trade off...

 

xBs don't use "shims". There is a camber kit but it doesn't have "shims". Just put the stock bolts back in and get it back to normal.

 

no good... i jsut went back to stock..
