Default question

I have tein coilovers and they are set at the lowest setting but the front of my xb sits lower then the rear any suggestions besides cutting a coil or 2 or lifting the front

Is it a major difference??? Some is good, besides if you put a speaker box or any wieght in the back it'll straighten it out!!! Alot of poeple haul stuff occasionally and their ride looks totaly jacked w the but end on the ground from the weight!
Now, if it's like a 3" diff. raise the front a hair to get the look you need!
Hope that helps...?
I'm sure that's not what you want to hear though!

Preferences. Preferences. I put a custom speaker box in the back of my ride (just for tunes, not weight) but it did lower it about half an inch which looks ok. But some people want the look of the "BUTT" on the ground and cant afford to have it done correctly. So as to your comment of looking "JACKED", thats harsh bro. Its always easier to make fun of something when you dont like what they have to do because of the lack of funds or whatever reason they can not get the stuff they really want. You dont know what going on in their lives to judge they way their car looks. Are you going to pay for the parts they need so you can change your mind about it looking "Jacked"?
Fine, start with mine. I can PM you the list because I dont have the $$$$$$$ to pay for what I really want.

Who Does? :?
The word Jacked is used if it's not the way you want it to look... in this case I'm trying to help jeffsbox to like it until affordable attire is available.....not to confuse it with a put down!! TW

I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ___, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me. That's just something that I enjoy.

that's too damn funny. anyone who incorporates quotes into posts has their ____ together. gotta love it.

i like the look of the back end just a tad higher. i was thinking about replacing the 35's on the back for 40's just for aesthetic reasons - blows rotating the rubber though. i ask my wife - she got better sense than that.

alright, back on topic. Jeff, can you post a pic of the rear coil-over? Maybe you installed it wrong.

Squirrel has the same set-up. He removed one of the locking bolts that lowers the car. There are supposed to be two locking bolts on the set-up, just remove one of them and the car will come down. On the rear only!! :D Hope this helps. Scionlife member Doctorcue was going to do the same thing as well, but he carries a lot of people in his car during the week.

I have the TEIN Wagon coilovers that are from Japan for the bB, but basically the same as the Basics but w/ different spring rates.

I initially liked the rake that my xB sat at, fully down in the rear and about 3/8" from being all the way down up front.

But then I added the original Fabulous spoiler and the rake was unbearable.

So I removed the smaller of the two collars in each of the rear coilover perches, cranked the larger one all the way down, and it sits just right now. But when I have peeps or a load in the back it practically sits level. An easy 30 minute mod.

Remember to remove the smaller collar and leave the one that is the same diameter of the springs, and you won't have any problems with the springs shifting under loading.

Any questions, PM me.

Do not cut any of the coils.
