Default I know I know not another 501 post ha ha ha

Ok I'm looking at buying a set of 501's in the 15x8 size for my xb in the next few weeks but I need tires. Been reading and a lot of guys seem to run 195/50/15 say it a stretch but all the pics I have seen are hard to judge how much of a stretch it is. What I'm looking for is the littlest to no stretch that I can still drop it at park and ride some what dropped while driving on airbags? Is the 195/50/15 a stretch that most tire shops will do or is it something that seats the bead easy? what about a 195/55 a little more side wall and closer to stock?

Ok Im looking at running Kumho Ecsta ASX in a 195/55/15 or Falken Ziex ZE-912 in a 195/50/15 which is the better tire and will ride better?

Don't mind me, not thread-jacking, but would these be good for long trips and a daily driver? (The stretched tires, etc)

I've sorta had both tires actually. Asx's ride nice and are quiet, but have squirrley sidewalls for spirited driving.

912's replaced the ones I have now... similar but they have stiffer sidewalls so kinda heavy, but ride smoother.

512's are still out there tho (Ebay) for dirt cheap, and a better compromise for me. Plus they stretch nicer han any other tire out there, except maybe Toyo T1r's.

Looks really good! What kind of drop is that? I am loving the look of the rear.

Its on air I'm going to try to rework the front this weekend and trying to find someone to roll my fenders in the rear.
