You can get that same brace here for $75 shipped, anytime.

I have the brace on my xA. Dropped 2", and yes its a speedbump shaver. But if you take your time and go over them slowly, and on an angle you won't scrape. Only if you take a speedbump dead on and at some speed so the force of going over the bump fully compresses your springs/struts will make you slam the brace on the speedbump.

As for how good it is.....definitly isn't the best. But for the money its worth it. It does make a considerable difference to the handling of the car, especially when paired with a STB. For $75 shipped, you can't go wrong.

these braces are speed bump shavers, no doubt about it. But if you drive carefully and dont take those bumps like a doofus, then you should have NO problem. The gain in handling is worth every speed bump shave. My brace looks like $hit, the 4 circle holes for the bolts are pretty much flattened and the brace itself has many scratches, but until the day it break, there it will remain.

It really doesn't do a whole lot guys. I am running one, and was running one on my car when I had my D2's on. (currently I do not have my D2's on, and back to OEM springs and struts).

What it did good was smooth out bumps in the road. The car seem to glide over bumps better than it was with the OEM brace. Doesn't reduce body roll, but does reduce flex from engine cradle to floor pan.

Its not the best bang for buck mod though.

Energy Suspension sway bar end links, and rear sway bar are much better bang for buck mods.

i always take speed bumps slow!
ive got Tein SS+p so the front already doesn't move around very much because of the 220 PPI front springs.
i just want something to brace the frame and give a little splash of color for the car shows.
i just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to break or fall of in less than a month.

I have the cusco one and I dont know what some people are talking about that it does nothing. When I installed mine I felt a decent difference it wasnt huge. I love it. And yes if you hit a speed bump right, it'll take an inch off that bump.

If you grind the cups down before you install and hit the ends with some paint, you don't need to worry about it.

I've been looking at picking one up for a while, but I have heard that they're only super noticeable during hard cornering.
