What to look for in Coilovers
Just out of curiosity,
What do you guys look for in your coilovers and why? i.e. Track, AutoX, Street, Daily Driven, quality, handling, lowness factors, etc.

D2's, Had them for auto-x, and road course. High pre-load on REAL tracks, with full firm damping. 1/2 way firm/soft with mild pre-load on daily driving. and mild springs rates, 3/4 full firm for auto x. Also have other goodies to help me turn as well.
I'd stay away from Progress. Not that they are garbage, because they are not. But because you only get height and damping adjustment. Its best to be able to adjust height, with out changing your spring rates. It'll provide for a better all around ride, less noise, and better handling. Also D2-KSport-Tien-STD-Cusco all come with Pillow block mounts up front, with camber adjustment. Camber adjustment is you're best friend when you're running low offset wheels, or track.

Also, what else are you using to improve suspension/cornering. I would love to get the box to corner as best it can.
Right now I have front strut bar, and rear sway besides the ksports.

Btw I had somebody go from springs to Progress Coilovers then to KW and the comment was on how awesome the KW's rode and actually handled the obstacles like potholes and bumps, not too stiff and definetly not mushy or bouncy! Costs more I know but you get what you pay for in alot of cases!
i made a swaybar for the rear of my box
, i was going to make more for my club, but i still need the right sized peice for our tube bender. that thing turns nice tho with that. i can get slight oversteer. but it will lower you rcomfort values over steeper driveways, cuz it ll 3-wheel like nones business haha, i get people givin me WTF!? looks when that inside wheel comes off the ground. i like my tien ss+p's, i just with their was a little more adjusment, the dampning is fine, but the rebound adjusts with it, and its to hard, if i hit a bump itll take the intial shock like a champ, but then it bounes back kinda harsh, im used to it and have compensated for it.
3 wheel is fun haha, when i was at the crown scion auto x day last year, i helped build a sway for my friends car too, and our cars were picking up the inside tires in the tighter turns, and getting a little bit of smoke on the rear tires in the longer sweeping turn, it was cool lol. what is it with shops and driveways though?
I like my megans.
Great for track usage and hard/fast turning.
On the softest settings it does pretty well with pot holes and bumps, but tends to sway slightly.
On the stiffest setting, going over a pothole or bump is a little harsh. It takes some getting use to. But no swaying.
I have it on the half way setting between soft/hard dampening.
Lowers pretty good on the front/rear. Rear can't be super tucked due to the way its made.
I might be selling these soon to upgrade to teins w/ edfc.

my problem is no one near me has a set of coilovers on their xb, in utah. All I have to compare is my DF210's on 17's with stock shocks.
I guess my question is we all seem to know how the DF210's ride on stock shocks, so would i be better or worse off just getting the Progress Coils for 700?
