Default HID help drivers side not firing

I have a set of hids from mobilehid.com, i have had them for about a year and 9 months with absolutely no issues, the other day i noticed my drivers side bulb went out, but it sometimes fires, but most of the time doesnt. i switched the bulb with the passenger and they both lit up which led me to believe it was just a bad connection, but when i turned my car off and restarted it, the drivers side didnt turn on again. so its not the bulb, what else could it be other than the ballast? how long do ballasts usually last? i havent gotten to the ballasts yet because we mounted them under the headlights behind the bumper to protect from water, so i havent had time to pull the bumper. any help is greatly appreciated, as i got pulled over yesterday for it and id like to get it taken care of asap.

uh it could vary... but i think its reasonable considering how long youve had it. Double check your connections, switch the bulb on each side. If the same side still doesnt work, its probably the ballast. Just contact mobilehd and get another one

if you purchased them through the sponsored sale here from MobileHID, he says that there is a lifetime warranty.

"**Lifetime warranty = HID conversion kits are designed to last approximately 3,000 or more hours. The "lifetime warranty" covers this period of time which is approximately 3 years at 3 hours of run time per day and is only offered to ScionLife customers.**"

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=152060 thats the thread with the info

so maybe try contacting them to see if theyll switch it for you or something.
