Hey Guys. I have a 5.3K HID kit from mcculloch on my car (tc) that i bought over 2 years ago. Just yesterday the driver side started acting up and I need some help from anyone who's got more experience.

The light turns on just fine, once it warms up it reaches the correct light output and after a few minutes it flickers and instead of the "white" color that the light normally outputs it turns "blue" and stays like that. Any idea what might be causing this? Is it the light or the ballast I should worry about? The right side works just fine.

I have similar problem just started last night. Might be ballast. Try switching bulbs then swap ballast. Watching

 

Probably bulb dying out, they do tend to change their color a bit after time.

 

my left one flickers a bit and then brightends, i also notice it flickers just a little when im leaving my house but not after that...

ill have to check if it has a larger hint of blue or not >_<

 

that is not the ballast, its the bulb. It happend to me, i replace the bulb and problem solved!
