Well, when spring will comes, im planning to do some shopping and the first thing i want to buy is cf rs1 lip. The only problem is that i live in Chii and winter time sux out here and i don't wan to loose my new lip first day of a winter. Currently i got tien ss and sometimes i can hear the plastic under my front bumper is scraping on the snow.I can imagine what would be like wit the lip one... How do you guys are getting through winter time. is taking off the lip for the winter time the only way to get through it?

 

I have the CF RS1 Lip and i take it off during the winter months.... Granted i dont drive a lot in the winter but either way ones the cold hits, it comes off im on Tein S-techs by the way

 

Don't drive when there is snow, ice on the ground. Or do what the cool cat above me said. Take it off and store it in a place where it would be safe and free from my stupid beagle....

 

well im at about the same height as s techs up front. Can you also tell me is that bolt on to your bumper or its glued?

 

Well least it sounds like your own beagle got to it, Im one my second lip because someone had the nerve to gank mine off around 4am with my car parked inches away from my house.....*big ******

 

It comes with screws to mount to the bumper, but come spring im figuring out a much more secure way to mount this badboy and never drive it bad conditions, I cant afford to loose another lip it sucks having to spend all that money on a part you use to have when it could go to something else

 

Yeah i know how you feel... That lip is not cheap especially when we are talking about cf version...another thing i have to figured how to secure it form "soccer moms" that are trying to squeeze their van in front of my car every day ( I live across elementary school) and i know one of them scratched my rear bumper and and lip is another thing that im going to have to watch for...

 

God yes take it off in the snow or it will not be pretty.they are great looking lips though our buddy in the club has the CF one and it fits great and has held up very well the lsat two years.

I am gonna get one but will be in FL when i do. Hahaha. Yea def take it off in the snow. Its not something you want to mess up.
