so i got the 8000k mobile hid kit, from what i read that should have gave my a blueish color light, but mine are just white.... there are deff. 8k i dont get it, should i try a different bulb brand 8000k?

any ideaa?

 

10000k should give you a blue color. I had that on my Audi A4 D2S and it was really blue. I had a hard time seeing at night when it rained.

 

why would you want such a blue anyway? you wont be able to see and your just asking to get pulled. i have 5000K and they look just fine and i can see through the fog and everything just fine.

4300K is the best you can get. its a stock OEM headlamp color temp

 

5000k are pure white, 6000k slightly bluish white, 8000k should def be more blue. send them back to cliffud, you should have a warrenty on them which i think is a year maybe? somebody correct me if im wrong

 

the 8000K would be the same mostly of you get another. cliff is the best at customer service. give him an email.

 

its over a year.... ive had the 6000k and they were white... the 8000k are just the same... and my friends is the same way... im not looking for really blue... just blueish. ya know?

 

maybe cliffud sent you the wrong temp bulbs?

 

they say 8000k, and i had 8k before the new ones and they were the same way, theres no way it could be the ballasts... could it.... i mean both?

from further away the lights are goin to look blue, the visible light from the drivers seat is goin to be white with 5-8k

mine look blue from further away (6k mobile hid) when im right next to the bulb looks white
