So I got money to do some more mods and I'm thinking of a hood damper for my tC. I can't decide between the redline tuning or nrg damper..basically not sure if I want one on either side or just one

Anyone got pics of the NRG? Polished/carbon fiber (doesn't matter really) I've seen plenty for the redline tuning one.

I searched and couldn't find any pics of the NRG one installed.

i had a redline tuning when i had a stock hood, got the NRG ones for my CF hood... the NRG ones a a LOT nicer due to the fact that you dont have to drill into the car to mount them...

 

really? how is it mounted then?
I actually just got a new drill for xmas so I don't mind using it lol :D But if I can avoid drilling holes like that I wouldn't mind

 

look in the pic at the closer strut... you replace the mid fender bolts with different ones, and add a plate between the hood and the hinges...

 

oh ok sweet thanks man! NRG it is then. They don't get in the way when you try and do work under the hood? I suppose if that were an issue I could always remove them or something...

Placed my order for a set of the polished NRG hood dampers..can't wait..lol puttin my xmas money to good use =)
