if i sold it to a dealership then yes stock is better, but im selling it private party so around here all the kids want modified cars so they'll want it more like this but i am giving all the stock parts to the buyer and if the buyer wants all stock i'll be glad to remove all parts and make it stock

Either way you could sell the car for more stock, cars loose value with aftermaker parts that just how it goes, anyway weather the kids want it or not...Plus you could sell the parts and get more money on top of selling your car more for stock or sell them the parts on top of the car if they want them...

List the car for sale as stock and say you have x amount of parts to through in at this price.....etc

or if thats just a hassle sell it all together but dont expect to get much more for your car according to KBB because of the parts...Unless its some 16 year old kid that dont know better and you take advantage of the situation which happens a lot...

I'll try that aswell.
I'll post 2 posts on craigslist one as stock and one with all the parts. Kids around here overpay for cars all the time since their parents buy the cars for them. Not saying im going to rip anyone off. lol

Is the car paid off?

I'm guessing you can probably get around 12 grand give or take a thousand.

i owe 12 grand on the car i'm not looking to make much off it i just need to get rid of some bills. I'm going to have another car to drive though so i wont be left with nothing. I hate this situation because i really don't want to get rid of it but i'm going to have to.

and i just got an offer for $14,500 with all parts. how does that sound??

all the parts are in very good condition and low miles except for the catback around 14,000 miles everything else is less than 10,000 miles hood and rims less than 6000 ...so 14500 sounds good??

i might take his offer

14,500 sounds fine. i do love how youre saying "kids" when you yourself are only 18 and still a kid. good luck with your sale, personally id just return to stock and sell the parts separately.

haha true but i never said I'm not a kid did I.
so like I said some Kids MY AGE around here still have parents who will pay and overpay everything for them.

but thanks. If this guy falls through i might sell the car first then part out if the car gets sold first. Don't want to sell parts then be left with the car.

Plus my job is cutting hours a lot untill march so now i have to look to work 2 jobs and go to college and still have a life. lol
