I have the GTSpec brand braces...they do the job.

the cups that the bolts go threw on the ebay one (the one ive been thinking about getting also) look a bit tall of should i say deep.
i would take a grinder to it so i don't have any scraping issues.

I don't think that's the brace he's talking about. That's the Greddy mid frame brace. I think he is talking about the Greddy front brace that's similar to the ladder brace that everyone has from eBay.
The only "front" brace Greddy offers I guess would be called the "mid" brace. It mounts just aft of those two angled braces...it is up front though. I'll get some pics. It leaves those stock angled braces in place. Still triangulated.
Hey, I have both of the frame braces, and the front really helped to tighten it up. The mid brace didn't do quite so much. The only pic I have of it isn't very good but here it is..

Yeah all of the other braces like the ebay knock-offs and the good ones have 4 mounting points, so you take out those stock bars you see in the pic on mine. The Greddy is just a single bar that reuses those two bars to triangulate the bracing. I would have liked to have got one of the Tanabes, but I running everything else Greddy, so I bought it instead. And I get a hell of a deal on Greddy parts too, so that helped.
Hey Crex, do you have a pic from the rear of the car....that's the only thing I was gonna add to your nice shot. I've also toyed with the idea of adding one or two more of these braces, evenly spaced, and further back on the frame. Anyone ever tried that?
Actually I don't haven't any other pics right now, but I do have it in the garage right now re-working my stereo, so I'll try to get one or two shots tomorrow morning and post them up. I was laying under it looking for some other place to mount the spare and you can see both braces plus the TRD rear sway really well.
It's lighter with all those rusted out spots. less metal you know. LOL! Nah, I've been meaning to get new piping made for several years now, but I've just never got around to doing it. I really should tho this summer. The sad thing is, I put the Greddy axle back on about 3 months after I bought the car brand new, and it already looked like that.
