i was wondering where people put there ballasts when they got there HIDs. ive notice theres not a lot of room close by the headlights and i had to zip tie it. this hid kit that i bought came with a mounting bracket but thers no room. what did u guys do?

 

zip tie'd em and made sure it was secure

 

well what i did with ballast was a fast and sloopy solution. i just simply got double sided tape and stuck my ballast from the left by the battery and my right one on the side wall and it works perfectly fine it hasnt came of yet and ive had my hids for 2 years

put them behind the grill in that space than buy Doctor Isotopes Radiator Cooling plate. thats what ive got, covers the ballasts up perfectly, you cant even tell that theyre there.

make sure you buy heavy duty double sided tape

 

zip tied to the frame of the car. i took the bumper off and mounted them under the headlights...

 

I used hevy duty velcro like what comes with the easypass's. I put the passenger side one right below the headlight there was a perfect spot for it. And for the driver side I stuck it on the inside fender.

 

I had the bumper off and found some bolts that were in an open area. Used those. Not visible at all.
