One of my friends was trying to open my trunk when it was locked, he pulled on the handle way top hard and the entire thing busted off. The plastic pieces are broken, and the handle just dangles down. How should I fix this?

 

yeah, ive heard of this happening before. did the whole garnish pull off? take a pic for us.

 

There was just a thread about this happening on an 05. You could Krazyglue everything back together or just drive it to the dealership and have them replace the clips and repair it and give the bill to your strong friend "Hercules".

 

tell your buddy to buy you a new one.

 

time to tell your friends to be more gentle. you could use crazy glue to fix the clips...or go get it repaired

 

1. Make him pay for it

2. Get friends who understand the difference between "locked" and "unlocked" or better yet open your hatch yourself

 

all of them are broke? wow.. i had the two middle glued together. its still holding up.
